1.Electric meter or radio interference meter to find the waveform of the discharge or the level of radio interference. The sensitivity of the electrical measurement method is high, the apparent discharge is measured, and the resolution can reach several picos.
2. Ultrasonic measurement. Utilize the ultrasonic wave that appears in the detection discharge, convert the sound wave into an electrical signal, and record it on a tape for analysis. The sensitivity of ultrasonic measurement is low, about several thousand pico-ku, its advantages are good anti-interference performance, and can be “located”. Some can estimate the distance from the detection point to the discharge point by using the difference in the transmission time of the electrical signal and the acoustic signal.
3. Chemical test. Detect the content of various gases in dissolved oil and the law of increase and decrease. This method is very suitable for operation monitoring, referred to as “chromatographic analysis”. Chemical assays are sensitive to localized overheating or arcing, but not to partial discharges. And it is important to observe the trend, for example, once every few days, you can find changes in the composition, proportion and quantity of gas contained in the oil, so as to determine whether there is partial discharge or local overheating.
