Types of partial discharge tests and suitable sites?
It is mainly used for partial discharge detection of high-voltage cables of 110kV and above, using tools to collect signals from the cable grounding box, and select different test types according to the site environment and needs, which can be mainly divided into 4 types:
① Withstand voltage partial discharge test. Cooperate with high-voltage withstand voltage test equipment such as frequency conversion or series resonance, and perform partial discharge measurement during cable completion or routine tests.
② Live detection test. Use measuring sensors such as HFCT, high-frequency capacitive arm, foil membrane electrode, etc. to measure the charged partial discharge of the cable.
③ Online PD monitoring. The detection equipment is installed on the test site for real-time partial discharge signal monitoring.
④ Intensive care. The device can be installed on-site to monitor cable PD trends online for short-term or long-term intensive care.
